About

I am a novice collector of currencies, collecting both coins and banknotes. My hobby started in the late 80’s with coins readily available at home, from friends, and relatives. What started me in collecting was a coin from the United States that was given to me by my mother.

After stopping for many years to concentrate on my college degree, I have recently rekindled this hobby of mine. Now I am concentrating on Philippine coins, and banknotes. I am slowly compiling and collecting the different coins and banknotes from different periods in Philippine history. Right now, I am concentrating on completing the coin sets consisting of regular circulation coins from the different series starting with the US occupation up to the present. I have also started collecting Philippine banknotes with overprints.

I am not an expert in coins or currencies. I am nowhere near a numismatist or notaphilist, but I do have a profound interest in collecting coins and banknotes whether it be foreign or local.

Aside from currencies, I also collect other stuff. I guess you can say I am a bit of a hoarder, since my room is full of useless stuff that I like to keep. I hold on to things with sentimental value to me especially relics from my family’s past.

Enjoy!
