Philippine Coins: 1991 25 Sentimo Improved Flora and Fauna Series
From 1991 to 1994, the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas minted a new series of coins. This series was the predecessor of the current New BSP Series. It was called the Improved Flora and Fauna Series or IFF for short and features flora and fauna found in the Philippines. This post features the 25 Centavo coin.

The butterfly on this coin is endemic to the Philippines with a vulnerable status.
Coins from this series are no longer legal tender and fairly easy to obtain.
